I condemn extreme forms of tolerance and co-existence of religions - Dr. Abiy Ahmed
Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed said that he condemned extremist practices that threaten the culture of tolerance and co-existence.
FDRE Prime Minister Dr. Abby Ahmed issued a statement on his Facebook page yesterday following the burning of churches and mosques in Mate town in Amhara region.
In his message, the Prime Minister said: "In Ethiopia, on the path of prosperity, there is no place for extremist practices that contradict the traditional culture of tolerance and co-existence of our country. I strongly condemn such fearful measures."
He also called on all Ethiopians to share their deep knowledge of respect and co-existence.
"Understanding and questioning dividend agendas will ensure our collective development," he conveyed.
